down by the river

One of my favorite places on earth and so delighted that I was born close to it.
If you want to join me, just leave a message and I might tell you where it is.

I started reading another book of Thich Nhat Hahn: "No Mud, No Lotus" (german title: Ohne Schlamm, kein Lotus - Die Kunst, Leid zu verwandeln") which is amazing and I recommend every human being out there to read it.

Here's one quote:

“Without suffering, there's no happiness. So we shouldn't discriminate against the mud. We have to learn how to embrace and cradle our own suffering and the suffering of the world, with a lot of tenderness.”

“When you love someone, you have to offer that person the best you have. The best thing we can offer another person is our true presence.”

True that.

Whoever who ist not connected with my Facebook stuff i recommend you reading this article. Just let me quote something little for you from it. The rest, you can dig in yourself. Enjoy!

"What we have to remember is that we can still do anything. We can change our minds. We can start over. Get a post-bac or try writing for the first time. The notion that it’s too late to do anything is comical. It’s hilarious."

It really moved me.
I would also like to hear or read what you think about it. Just leave a comment! Thanks!
